This stretching & flexibility lesson is designed to teach the participant how to correctly and effectively stretch the most common major and minor muscles in your body.
When we are either more or less active than usual , begin the aging process or we are recovering from an injury we may have a tendency to less flexibility and ease of motion. This may make moving without pain more difficult. This begins a vicious downward spiral that can lead to severely restricted range of motion, loss of strength and poor balance. These Stretching & Flexibility Lessons are excellent for creating, restoring joint mobility, muscular strength, coordination, and more. The goal of these lessons are to help you achieve and maintain healthy, pain free movement throughout your body and your life.
During these lessons I will explain each movement then demonstrate the movement and walk you through doing the movement so that you have a good understanding and will then do it properly and safely. I will be watching and accessing each of your movements, your flexibility level and your range of motion as you perform them. I will be taking notes, and at the end of class will go over those with you this is designed to help you put your focus on those areas of your body that may need a bit of extra focus.
